My holistic counseling style includes both, so you can cultivate ease, joy, and resilience you’ll carry all throughout life.
You’ve read self-help books and tried mindfulness practices. Maybe you’ve even been to therapy before. But nothing seems to make a change that sticks.
And although you rationally know better, you can’t help but wonder if you’re somehow broken.
I’m here to tell you that you’ve been on the right track all along. In fact, I’m willing to bet you’ve already come further than you give yourself credit for!
You’ve heard of your left and right brain – how the logical and emotional sides of your mind work together.
Just like you’d never shut down your right brain and use only the left, you shouldn’t focus on science-based healing at the expense of the spirituality that speaks to your soul – or vice versa!
By consistently practicing both sides of healing, you’ll learn to lead with your heart and accomplish your goals; provide for yourself and connect deeply with our beautiful world.
In other words, you’ll find a calm and fulfilling way to live that’s sustainable because it aligns with all of you.
• Guidance towards the right wellness routine for you, and accountability to consistently practice it until you see results (even when life seems too busy).
• A space that’s safe and calm enough for all sides of the real you to express themselves (even the parts you’ve learned to keep hidden).
• A balanced take on healing — one that acknowledges the power of evidence-based treatment and ancient spiritual traditions (because using one without the other is only half the equation).

I’m so glad you’re asking this question – it means you think this style might be a fit for you – but I know how tricky paying for therapy can be!
Insurance companies have very specific requirements for therapy they’ll reimburse. If you’re feeling drawn to a non-traditional therapy experience, the practitioners you align with will almost certainly be out-of-network (like me!).
If holistic therapy isn’t a priority and traditional therapy sounds fine to you, I totally respect that! There’s no “right” and “wrong” way to meet your full spectrum of needs.
But if you think we’re a match and the price is holding you back….
Many of my clients are able to get 50-80% of the cost reimbursed through their out-of-network insurance benefits!
A lot of people don’t know they have these benefits, so check your policy! If you’re not sure how, I’m happy to talk you through it in our free consultation.
You can pay for your services in a quick, easy, and secure manner from the comfort of your own phone through the Ivy Pay app. You will receive an invitation from me to download the app and add a debit or credit card to your account prior to beginning your sessions. Payment is due on the day of service.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
• You live every day with a clear head because you’re sleeping soundly and following a consistent physical and spiritual self-care routine.
• You get butterflies in your stomach when you think about your big career, education, or lifestyle goals because you know you can manifest them.
• When you hit a goal, you treat yourself to a special dinner, wellness treatment, or adventure, because you’re seriously proud of your win.
• You’ve (seemingly magically) opened up time to travel with your partner, dance at festivals with your best friends, or take weekly hikes with your pup.
• You’ve fearlessly let go of relationships and habits that don’t serve you.
• When an unexpected stressor pops up, you’re confident you can roll with the punches and calmly make hard decisions.
The Process
Step 1: Free intro call
When I say “counseling services in California” I mean the whole state, so don’t hesitate to reach out, wherever you are! After you contact me, we’ll hop on a casual 15-minute call. We’ll talk about your situation, your goals, payment, and scheduling. You’ll also have a chance to ask any questions you might have.
Step 2: Sign & schedule
If we’ve decided we’re a good match, I’ll send over your onboarding paperwork. Once that’s done, your first appointment is confirmed!
Step 3: Deep intake
Our first session is an intake – it’s all about setting a foundation so I can customize future sessions to you and your goals. We’ll dive deep into your backstory and clarify what you’re hoping to create through therapy in all areas of your life.
Step 4: Let’s get to work!
We’ll meet once a week for 60 minutes (keeping it frequent helps make meaningful change). Every session starts with blank space so you can bring up whatever is calling to you that day. If you don’t have a focus in mind, I’ll invite you to learn new skills that support your goals.
